Read What Our Clients Say

I've been meaning to write this for some time now... Dr. Garg and staff are absolutely amazing. From check in to check out, everyone is so nice, helpful and patient. They have same day appointments every time we've needed to come in. Having a sick pup is stressful and draining, but knowing Dr. Garg and his crew are here makes me feel so much better. He's taken more x-rays than he's charged us for. He really takes the time to evaluate what's wrong and suggest solutions or procedures that are truly in your pet's best interest. Never have we felt rushed or brushed off. We're able to call in with any questions or concerns and receive help or answers to at least calm our nerves. Emails are responded to promptly. Couldn't ask for a better team to help my fur baby when he's not well (and when he is well for routine things).

I took my 5lb Chihuahua mix here for her second mastectomy and I have to say that it was a roller coaster of an experience. Dr. G is very patient as I brought her back every other day for about 2 weeks. The mastectomy went well until her two back legs started swelling up. At first when I took her back, 1 leg was swollen, and another vet said that it was due to an infection so we were prescribed an antibiotic medication. After a couple days her second leg started swelling. I took her back and Dr. G was able to immediately diagnose what was happening. Since the first surgery was so invasive, her skin was stretch and not enough blood was going to her legs. He then said that she would need a second surgery to alleviate the pressure. By this time you're probably thinking that this should have been taken care of in the first place... The surgery was a higher risk procedure because my dog is not only tiny but also 13 years old. I am grateful for Dr. G because he didn't charge me for any of the subsequent visits and made sure that my dog was taken care of each time. I'm hoping that she has many more years to spend with me.

Urban Pet Hospital isn't my normal vet but, I was in a pickle last week as my dog "scotch" needed to get current on his vaccinations for a daycare center and I was lucky enough to get a last min appointment. There's a great yelp deal for first time customers ($20 bucks off) and the reception makes you aware of it even though I already knew. How nice, right!? Anyway, the person at reception was super friendly and our vet was right on time. He administered the bordatatella vaccine with ease and made my dog feel comfortable in the process. I didn't realize it was an oral vaccination so, pretty easy. It's a great vet with 5 stars across the board for obvious reasons.
